The White Stripes – Seven Nation Army
“Seven Nation Army” is a beautiful song by The White Stripes, an American prolific rock duo formed in Detroit, Michigan. “Elephant” was their 2003 studio album where this song came from.
Are you aware that Jack White (the writer of this song) saved the main riff of this song in case he was chosen to write the theme for James Bond.
He later saw that it was unlikely that he would be chosen so he made this song anyway. Then five years later, he was asked to write the theme song for “Quantum of Solace”, a James Bond movie. Imagine!!!
However, this is a song about standing up against challenges and refusing to back down. The singer feels like he’s up against a huge force, almost like an entire army.
The “seven nation army” represents powerful enemies or difficult obstacles that feel overwhelming. But instead of running away, he’s determined to face them head-on. Enjoy it!!!
