The Offspring – The Kids Aren’t Alright
Back then, any English rock bands from late 90’s or early 2000’s sounded so positive and high energy to me.
I had no idea what they were saying, so these songs would always cheer me up and make my day seem brighter. Little did I know these lyrics were deeply depressing or anti-stablishment.
With that said, “The Kids Aren’t Alright” by The Offspring is a powerful and emotional song that talks about the struggles of life, especially for young people growing up in difficult environments.
This song actually talks about how young people can go through tough times, like family problems, addiction and the pressure to succeed, which can leave them feeling lost and disappointed.
It shows that growing up isn’t always that easy and the path to adulthood can be full of struggles that aren’t always visible on the surface. Enjoy it!!
